ADVANTAGE SYNTHETIC BLEND GEAR OILS are multipurpose, heavy-duty, extreme pressure gear
lubricants which are recommended for hypoid and bevel gear sets used in most limited-slip rear
drive differentials. These gear oils are intended for service fill, top-off and refill of hypoid
and other drive axles usually found on high performance rear drive and four wheel drive vehicles,
which recommend API GL-5 limited-slip gear lubricants. Meets, or exceeds, the API GL-5, API MT-1,
MIL-PRF-2105E, PG-2 (anticipated requirements) and Mack GO-J.
ADVANTAGE LIMITED-SLIP GEAR OILS are specially formulated for final drives which utilize
limited-slip clutches and friction discs. These oils contain special friction modifiers and additives
to eliminate “chatter”, and offer smooth performance throughout a variety of difficult traction
situations. Both 80W140 and 75W90 Gear Oils utilize a Polymethacrylate VM which imparts excellent
low temperature properties.
